Dancing Hares is a Napa Valley Red Wine using Bordeaux varietals from Tuck Beckstoffer Estate (formerly
Dancing Hares Winery) at the base of Howell Mountain in St Helena AVA. The vineyard was planted in 2000
on rocky, porous soils. The vines are cane pruned and yield four tons per acre. The maceration is long and cool,
seldom exceeding 78 degrees. The wine is aged 22 months in 70% new barrique.
