We made this wine to grace our family’s table and liked it so much we wanted to share it with our customers and friends. With just under 60 cases produced, it won’t last long. It’s made from Grenache grapes grown in Monterey (70%) and Lodi (30%) appellations. This is a true “rosé of intention,” meaning we grow and harvest the grapes with the sole purpose of making an early harvest, direct to press Rosé for greater nuance, acidity and balance. The juice slowly ferments at 48 degrees in stainless steel for over three weeks. This preserves the delicate aromatics.
The combination of the two vineyards yield aromatics of mandarin orange, limestone and honeysuckle. Lively flavors of lemon zest, peach and raspberry expand in the mouth through a perfumed, racy finish.
