Aromas of lemon oil, honeysuckle, and almond skin elevate in the glass, followed by mouth coating flavors of fresh pear, white peach, and vanilla bean. A vibrant core of acidity extends from the mid-palate all the way to a crème fraiche and hazelnut accented finish.
Sonoma Coast Appellation
Miles north of San Francisco is a distinct corner of the Sonoma Coast appellation known for cool ocean breeze, limited water access, and the presence of the great spotted owl. During the growing season, the vineyard experiences bright sunshine during the day but is often subject to the cool blanket of the fog that hugs the coastline. Because of this, temperatures rarely drop too low or rise above 85 degrees, creating the ideal conditions for that perfect slow ripening.
Due to a combination of these unique characteristics, we believe these vineyards will be preserved over time, giving the wines produced in this area a rare and collectible quality that will only increase in value over time.
